Pneumonia kills more children than any other disease. The burden is higher in LMIC in particular in HIV populations. We work in collaboration with Liverpool hospitals and the MLW to develop best methods of reducing susceptibility to infection, improving prevention and optimising treatment and recovery from pneumonia.
