This RCPE Symposium will provide an opportunity to hear world-leading experts speaking on a range of topical issues in global health. This will include an in-depth session on the Ebola outbreak featuring leading international experts engaged both globally and locally, including #LSTM's senior lecturer Tim O'Dempsey, while also considering major global health issues such as the response to non-communicable diseases and the challenges of neonatal mortality in low- income and middle-income countries. It will also focus on the progress made in achieving universal health coverage worldwide; and consider successful example of vaccine introduction and roll-out in all countries including the UK.
This symposium will also be live web-streamed to many overseas venues.
