
April 4th to 6th, 2016 LSTM and its Filarial Programmes Support Unit will be hosting a workshop for the NNN organisation. Experts in many of the neglected tropical diseases will gather in Liverpool to discuss current crosscutting issues that affect patient care programs for diseases such as lymphatic filariasis, leprosy, trachoma, podoconiosis, Buruli Ulcer and others.
The subjects that will be covered include indicators of success, ways of bringing care for all of these diseases together in the field, the identification and location of NTD patients and approaches to ensuring that care is care available to them. This meeting will also prepare for the major NNN meeting to be held in Washington, USA later this year.
