John joined CMNH in April 2015 and is employed as a Programme Officer and currently supports The Global Fund Quality Improvement of Integrated HIV, TB and Malaria Services in Antenatal and Postnatal Care Facilities programmes being implemented in Afghanistan, Chad, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria and Togo, with a strong focus on operational and financial management, monitoring of deliverables and milestones and reporting, working in collaboration with technical, academic, operational teams and partners.
John also provides operational programme support to the UNICEF Sustaining integrated evidence-based interventions for maternal and newborn health Services in Tanzania, working closely with the LSTM country office, UNICEF, Tanzania MoH and key stakeholders.
John has a wealth of knowledge and experience of managing large multi-agency grant funded projects on time and to budget, previously working for over 30 years in the public sector & ‘not for profit’ charity organisations with both Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Mutual Homes with a background in financial management, project appraisal & monitoring and system development & support.
